Harry Potter !!

Over winter break, for some reason, I really wanted to watch the Harry Potter movies. After I watched the first one, I told myself, wow that was really good let's watch the next one. This process continued all the way until I finished all the movies. After the movies, I fell in love with the Harry Potter series and began to read the books. At the moment, I'm reading the first book of the series. Usually, I try to read the books then watch the movies because I like comparing the movies to the books. Typically, the film doesn't include important or small details from the book. It makes me very sad when the movies change the plot. Right now, in Harry Potter and The Sorcerers Stone , Harry and all of the other first years are being placed in their houses. To be placed, the student must put on the sorting hat. Dear 9-year-old, Enjoy your young life while you still have it. You have no homework, no tests. Life's a breeze! Playing on the playground all day is the life. The only things you worry about are the upcoming birthday parties and recess. Oh, how birthday parties are fun. Jumping around on those inflatable bouncy-houses all day. Eating a cookie cake after. School is your least priority. Enjoy playing with your neighbors and playing outside while you can. Soon, everyone becomes older and drifts in different directions. When you are this young, nobody knows any better. Everyone is equal. As you become older, children start to go in different directions and start making assumptions about one another. People create special friend groups that are impossible to enter. School becomes increasingly more challenging, and the pressure and anxiety begin. You probably don't even know what those words mean. Prompt: Write about your day today Today, I woke up at 7 am and got ready. Today was my first part (out of two) for earning my drivers permit. I was so nervous but excited at the same time. Next door to the driving school, there's a donut shop. My dad and I got a chocolate donut each with chocolate milk. Finally, it was 8am, and I met my driving instructor, who is an affable man by the way and we started to practice. I had to really acclimate myself to drive. Driving is not difficult, simply nerve-racking. We drove in the huge parking lot for maybe one hour and then we took a break. After our break, I started driving on the road. I just drove from the driving school to a neighborhood. My heart was beating so fast. That was actually my first time driving on the road. I drove for hours in that neighborhood.
